They say ”beauty is in the eye of the beholder“, meaning the person looking at you determines your beauty. We don´t entirely agree. How could our beauty possibly be so beyond our control? We all know it isn´t.

Our appearance is no accident. Each day we work to make ourselves ”presentable“. We go for certain looks, from cute to alluring, striking to natural. Entire industries stand ready to sell us the next ideal look that calls itself beauty. Furthermore, every culture has its own definition. But isn´t individuality beautiful too? It´s time to define beauty honestly.

To us, true beauty is when you can see on the outside how beautiful the person is on the inside.

When we see clear skin, shiny hair and strong fingernails, such traits are attractive because they often reflect inner well–being. We can always improve our inner state, and this will always show on the outside. We can help the body to help itself.

To get real beauty, get real about beauty. Honor your body. Lighten your mood. Express your individuality. Do this over time, until you know that the real you inside is beautiful.

Then go to the mirror, and behold your own beauty.
